# history again

Ok, I’ve found several subjects on the ? of What Ironclad was the first that the confederates built. Now, I know the answer isn’t the CSS Arkansas or the Tennessee and as for the CSS Virginia, it’s out also. I have by chance narrowed the years down. The Arkansas and Tennessee were built in 1861 and that there was an ironclad before them. Also, this ironclad was just found here recently (according to my history professor) I’m not asking for the answer to this ?, but just a little guidence on where to find it. I feel that I’m close but am at a hump that I can’t get over. Is there a full list of confederate Ironclad ships and the dates that they were built? Thanks
