He has a couple of them. His first, Nicholas and Alexandra, was the basis for the movie of the same name. He also has a great book about Peter the Great called, well, I think the title is obvious.
His final book about the Romanovs is a follow up to Nicholas and Alexandra. Along with the impostor stuff he writes extensively about the discovery of the Romanov bones and the DNA analysis that followed. It’s a very interesting read.
As an update, before I actually ordered it online, my daughter phoned and said she had some QBD (Queensland Book Depot) gift vouchers for me. So I didn’t proceed with the online purchase.
I went to QBD today and they told me the book was unavailable- and has been- since 1996. Morons.
I have ordered it from Angus and Robertson and it is shipped within 12 days. Online.
I am interested in that time but it wasn’t until I read Dreadnought that I found such and interest in the books about that time (if that makes sense). I had Dreadnought for about ten years before I read it.
