“[I Don’t Like Mondays](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8yteMugRAc0)” by the Boomtown Rats. The song is about an actual spree killer who shot up a schoolyard and who, when asked why, replied “[I don’t like Mondays](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I_Don%27t_Like_Mondays).” Back in the 70s, a local radio station was promoting an “I don’t like Mondays” promotion, and used the chorus of the song. When the Monday came along, there was no mention of it; evidently someone explained the meaning of the song to them over the weekend. ---
