Perhaps I could have stated it better. As far as I know, none of the new strips have actually used the words “Bloom County.” Most strips so far are Opus dealing with the fact that he is 25 years behind the times. It’s meta-commentary, and that runs dry *real *fast.
It’s not unreasonable for him to have started out with some references to the changing times. It’s not like he’s continued doing so for weeks on end.
The most recent two have been about Binkley finding Donald Trump’s Lhasa Apso in his anxiety closet. Nothing about the last 25 years. No mentions of Opus.
