At the risk of getting political, I’m not quite sure what Tom Ridge and Condi Rice are doing out there stumping for Bush in battleground states, when at least a portion of 300 tons of missing explosives has had months to make its way around the globe. Homeland Security and National Security should be non-partisan. Shouldn’t they be doing their, I don’t know, _jobs_ maybe? _shakes head_ ---

Man this just hacks me off. All the crap going on in the world and my tax dollars are going to pay some government agency to intimidate small business owners about rubiks cube knock-offs when they should be making sure people aren’t blowing things up? Why would an agent from Homeland Security be involved in copywrite infringement? Isn’t that the perview of the FBI, or court officers? ---

Apparently they were Customs officials, Customs now being under the Department of Homeland Security. And I think it was patent or trademark infringement (not copyright), so “fake goods,” so Customs. Thank goodness they’re stopped all those fake drugs from Canada, so now can go after toys. Flu Shots for Everyone!
