I believe he told her that her grumpy, snapy, SO wasn’t getting enough and SO needed her ahemm attention. Though ass kicking all around sounds like a plan to me. ---

Look around for a guy who has friends, who knows how to both give and take, start slow and be sure he’s a properly socialized person before you do the “Oh, we both like X, that means we will be soul mates and ignore the mean/grouchy/bad things he’s doing right away.” That’s for teenagers in junior high school, you ought to know how it works in the real work already.
