# HockeyDope I (Montréal)

I am willing to organize an ice hockey game in the Montréal area, for all Dopers interested in participating.
This would entail a full equipment, non-contact game (1.5 hours ice time, so 3 periods of 20 minutes running time), 10 players plus a goalie per team, referee and score keeper. As I already run a hockey league, I have everything at my disposal to make this happen. Players interested in participating should have their own equipment.
The main goal of the game is to have fun, no idiots please.
I figure a Saturday night in November (depending on what works best for people), a pre-game dinner and pot game beers.

I know for a fact that I’ll get to wear the very stylish South Shore Ale Stars jersey, that’s worth it right there!
Goaltenders who sign up will be treated extreeee-special…it would be nice to not have to turn the nets around…
Who wants their name at the top of the Cecil Adams Cup?

Too bad…one of my sets of jerseys are San Jose Sharks home shirts (_circa 1998_) proudly emblazoned with the **South Shore Ale Stars Hockey League** crest. Sweet…
C’mon, 25,000 members, we should be able to find 22 to play hockey!!!

I’m up for that too, you know it **grrrl** , but sheesh, nobody else on the boards plays ice hockey?
Sure you can’t come up **Hardygrrrl**? Think of it as the mother of road games. Plus, the refs in **sköt’s** leagues are usually blind as bats!

Ice hockey? Sounds sweet, except I sold most of my equipment after quitting a couple years ago. That, and the three hour drive. And the fact I have no way to get there. But I’m a goalie!
