So, are you collecting the names and addresses for people who want to send to a list, (like we did on Valentine’s day,) or are you just going to send a card to everyone who writes to you? ---

Everyone who wanted in sent me their name and address. There were about 30 people overall, I think, so I split the names into two lists. Some people wanted to be on both lists, and I also put myself onto both lists (organizer’s perogative), though I only sent to the people on one. Then you sent a valentine to everyone on your list. Some of us ( **cranky** and myself for sure, plus a few others) made them by hand – others bought boxed sets of nice cards – others bought a bag at the dollar store. **BeagleDave** (where’s he been, BTW?) sent a nice pic of his daughter holding a “Doper Valentines” greeting. It was fun – for more than a week, there was Doper Mail just about every day. I’ll organize it again this year, unless someone else wants the honor. ---

Ah… So if I were sending cards to everyone on list A, you’d give me all of those addresses, right? Sounds complex! I’m glad I’m only taking care of my own cards. 😃 ---

I probably should list those from whom I’ve received emails. (Not their addresses, mind you, just their board names.) I just mailed\* 18 cards. 18! I’ve never mailed 18 anythings before. In fact, I didn’t mail 18 anything over the entire past year. Got stamps and cards (replenished), so I’ll be addressing more today to go out tomorrow. \*Okay, technically, they won’t be mailed until tomorrow, but to me they’re mailed, because they’re in the Blue Box o’Joy. So, Mystery Person (see previous post)… who are ye? Could you re-email me if your SN isn’t among those listed? 🆒 ---

Ok. All cards are mailed (save one straggler - will get that out tomorrow, I swear!). Today I mailed two cards overseas! I went to the post office here to do it, because I wasn’t sure how much overseas postage was nowadays. (In case anyone asks, it’s 80 cents for an regular ol’ envelope from the U.S. to any country except Canada and Mexico.) Whew! ---

Here we are, less than a week before Christmas Day, and I’ve received a LOT of cards. I normally get one, maybe two. I’m gonna name everyone from whom I’ve received a card, just in case someone sent a card and it never got here. I don’t want you to think I’m intentionally forgetting to thank you in this thread! I really, really appreciate each of these cards.
