Thanks everyone! When I got home from work, I told my husband to close his eyes and hold out his hand. He stared at it for a while and looked confused, then he got a big smile on his face and we hugged and kissed and freaked out for the rest of the night. My husband told his sisters and I told my mother. She’s been wanting this for a while, especially after losing my father this past Christmas, so she’s really excited. The funniest part of the conversation was when she said, "Oh, you’ve got to call your gynecologist, no…::sobbing::…your ob…ste…trician…::sobbing::. It was so cute. Then she said, “Okay, get off the phone so I can call people!” I knew she wouldn’t keep the secret. We couldn’t wait to tell people. Plus, if I lose it, I’d want my mother’s support. I think she’d be hurt if I hadn’t told her I was pregnant to begin with. ---
