This many warnings in less than 18 months. He was suspended before this. Suspension is usually the next to the last stop on the ban bus and we carefully explain that any further misbehavior of any sort, however mild, is truly The Last Straw. Apparently in this case it didn’t take. We did not take this lightly. He was counseled. He was talked to. He was Warned. He was suspended. He had every opportunity to turn this around. He didn’t. I will also post the links in the announcement thread so it’s clear to everyone. ---

It’s hard to guess what may have caused the axe to fall at this particular time. When I didn’t see any notably offending recent threads, my WAG was that perhaps he flew off the handle in private messages and threatened litigation against the Board. Total speculation, of course. ---

I disagreed with him more often than not, but I’ll miss him. Despite his being a stone cold atheist and me being all religious and whatnot, I realized over the years that we had a lot in common. Too bad he couldn’t control himself better, that really sucks. ---
