# Holy crap! What kind of spider WAS this??

AAAAAASPIDERS Spiders are cool. One time, in geek camp (I mean college affiliate youth computer programming course), I was told that spiders don’t have muscles in their legs, but work on a sort of hydraulics instead. That’s why they curl up after you step on them and incompletely squish them - they[re leaking vital fluid everywhere.

It is stuff like this that sometimes makes me think that long hard winters are a good thing. Now it four months of twenty below would kill the Asian Soy Bean Aphid Beetles…
