# Holy Oats, Breakfast of Gallileans!?

My former Father in Law said that when he was in radio back in the 70’s, that he put together a commercial bit for “Holy Oats”.

He did the whole thing, and it was hilarious.

Has anybody, in particular any California folks, ever heard anything like it?

“Send in 5 boxtops for a crown of thorns cereal bowl!”

I don’t know about that particular brand, but I’ve picked up Bible Bars before, which claimed to be made from recipies in the Old Testament (although I found out later that they were actually “inspired” by the book. I thought it was odd that Moses used partially hydrogenated soybean oil).

I’ve come across quite a few brands of Bible-inspired foods, although aside from the aforementioned, I’m at a loss to recall any.
