Best neighborhood for a StraightDoper is Oak Cliff, around Hampton and Illinois… Believe me, I’ve been there. ---

Doper or not, I would suggest a few blocks north (towards Stevens Park Golf Course). The Hampton and Illinois area is more commonly referred to as _South_ Oak Cliff (and what a difference a word makes). ---

Come to think of it, how hard would it be to bring along a laptop? Being a _lumpenprole_, the dives I hang out in don’t have wireless internet tech, but you, on the other hand… Then we could all participate as you’re run out of tow…getting your glorious sendoff! And Dallas gets another lawyer! That seems fair. ---
