Actor Earl Hindman, best know as “Wilson” on Home Improvement, died of cancer at age 61. He was also Bob Reed on the soap “Ryan’s Hope.” ---

Holy crap, that sucks. I mean, all I knew him from was Home Improvement, which I still catch in syndication, but still. If he was half as likeable as his character seemed (and I think with a role like that, you’d have to be), this is a really sad loss. And to think, if you missed the good-bye, you never saw his face (unless you watched Ryan’s Hope, but up until now, I’d never heard of it). ---

Bummer. I also knew him from Ryan’s Hope. About a million years ago. Back when they had the original Dehlia. Boy! Did she crack me up. But bummer for him.
