# Homer Simpson or Peter Griffin?

Wasn’t it Adam Carrola (sp?) who did the voice of Death?

Norm MacDonald was death first, and he did much beter IMO.

Homer Simpson is definitely a better father, but I think that has to do with what the two shows are: one is (or at least was) a character driven comedy with sharp pieces of satire and the other is just a launching pad for pop culture references and non sequitors.

But, to be honest, I like the Family Guy more than the Simpsons because it makes me laugh more often and is just so damn surreal.

Peter: We’ll ignore it just like we ignore the octopus.  
[Giant octopus knocks table cloth off the table]  
Peter: Earthquake.  
Lois: Train passing by.
