I just wanted to mention that the C.A. Tripp book that Cecil mentions in his [column on Abraham Lincoln’s alledged homosexuality](http://www.straightdope.com/columns/040402.html) has apparently finally been published. There’s a Slate article on the book [here](http://slate.msn.com/id/2112313/). ---

If it’s true, (gasp) **another Log Cabin Republican!** Eh, big deal. Is C.A. Tripp related to the infamous Linda Tripp? Like there hadn’t already been enough Tripping up of presidents…
