This is the second debate about gay marriage in which I’ve participated during the course of which one of the main opponents of gay marriage has taken their football and gone home when they discover that they aren’t going to win the debate. They end up claiming victim status and suggesting that everyone else is not playing fair.
Nonsense. You pull out of the debate because your position is indefensible.
With enough law suits by the gay community, gay marriage will have to be accepted by the straight commmunity who fear being sued and sued untill their pockets are empty and are left flat busted. Acceptance threw hard ball tactics and bully lawyers the gay community has us just where they want us.

Cheney is proof of the importance of being Out. This demonstrates that knowing or being related to someone who is Gay is a salve on homophobia. It’s difficult to hate your own daughter.

And who’s “us”? Us would be the straight people who because feel marriage is between an man and a woman. They are now being DOMINATED by gay groups who want to force us to accept that that a man and a man is ok. I don’t think gay marriage seems right to me. But there are plenty of gay men tring to push the issue on me and other people saying it is fair and just and they have got to have it. I for some reason feel an instinct to fight back.
If you don’t like the idea of two men marrying, then um, don’t marry a man. I promise not to make you marry anyone you don’t want to.

Well, last I checked, the Constitution did not exempt business owners from respecting their employees rights. If what you want is to continue discriminating against gays, you can’t because it’s wrong.
“Fight back” against what? Who’s forcing you to get married to someone of your own sex? You don’t have to agree that it’s okay, but there are countless examples of things with which I disagree, but yet I have no control over because it’s interfering with someone else’s freedom to live life with equal protection of the laws. That doesn’t mean that those who are pissing me off must stop what they are doing.

Now… the term is Alpha Male.

Y’know…it’s been decades since my last biology course but I don’t recall homophobia being symptomatic of being “alpha male”. As a matter of fact, IIRC, one of the primary ways that the alpha male establishes dominance over the rest of the pack is by the anally penetrating the others.
