It’s pretty clear that he misrepresented Honesty’s claims. That’s strawmanning, and he won’t stand for it. Obviously he had no choice but to add himself to his ignore list.
Yeah, but all that means is he doesn’t read his posts after writing them. I don’t see how that’s any different than before.

My, and I hadn’t opened this thread before now figuring it would just be smiling bandit doing an unintentional self pitting only to discover brazilnut has turned it into a pitting of himself. I find it quite amusing that five years later he still has his blog with his rules of debate and the enemies list of SDMBer’s whom he’s ‘banned’ from the interwebs who he’s banned so thoroughly as to delete their names from history, only referring to them as the poster known as “*******”. Any remotely sane person would have deleted the blog out of sheer embarrassment of the childish stupidity of it by now.

Also, nobody can reasonably deny that there is a major difference between the following claims:
(1) Mutations in the genetic code don’t always translate into changes in the protein.
(2) Differences in the genetic code do not result in changes in proteins except for unusual situations resulting from infection-induced bottlenecks.
If you had the slightest amount of intellectual honesty you would, at a minimum, admit that what Honesty said in the previous thread is different from what you have said he said.
But obviously it’s more important to you to be one of the popular kids on an internet message board. To “profit” as scabpicker would say.

You have failed to provide a citation that Honesty made such a claim. The citation you have provided did not include that claim, and in fact did not include any untrue statement. We await evidence that such a claim exists.
I do not engage with this poster do to his past conduct. In case Paranoid Randroid is curious, what happened is that, among other things Smeghead asserted that I had “abused the scientific method.” However he refused to provide the particulars of what exactly I had supposedly done and why it was “abuse” in his view.
I have no interest in engaging with people who simply assert conclusions.

What Honesty said in the previous thread wasn’t wrong, you fucking idiot. She was talking about haplogroups, which are based on differences in mutations which are not believed to be under selection. Her statement was correct. And she didn’t say what you are pretending she said.

QFT, As one can see from his previous reply, he is even unaware how how wrong he is about me, and no, this is not false modesty, at least on the subject of Global Warming more than one scientist has told me that I do get it right, and the willful brazilian nut, the Nowhere Man, is not even getting help from Ringo. 
The funny thing was that I was really only marginally annoyed with Honesty in any case, and managed to accept that his/her/its style just really irritates me and there’s nothing to do about it. I had kinda forgotten this thread existed. It’s sort of grown - mutated as it were - into a horrible beast with three heads and slimy green skin.
