Thelonious Monk’s “Friday the Thirteenth.”

Sonny Rollins’s “St. Thomas.”

Anybody’s [“Louise,”](http://members.tripod.com/~compmast/chevalie/louise.html) especially Lester Young’s or Lee Konitz’s. (Careful about clicking on that link…you’ll hear the Maurice Chevalier version. Over and over again.)

And…God help me…Weather Report’s “Birdland.”
