My roommate is going to be away for 1-2 weeks, housesitting for his parents. Which means I can wander around the house naked all day. (I don’t like clothes much, and if I had my own place I would never wear them at home unless I were entertaining.) Hooray for nudity! And blinds with big gaps in them! :eek: ---

Do we need to put a warning on your posts in case any under-18 dopers try to read them? 😛 I recently learned that a good friend of mine takes his pants off immediately upon returning home from work, and spends the rest of the evening in his underpants. Briefs, no less! And now, when I chat with him over IM, I can’t stop thinking about (and not in the good way) the underpants-clad figure on the other side, typing away. Makes things difficult! Thank goodness I don’t know you personally, **fetus** , or I don’t think I could read your threads over the next 2 weeks! ---

I’m a shirtless kind of guy. My roommates in Atlanta took a bit of a while to get used to it, but it was just the way I was raised and it’s much more comfortable. But total nude is not my cup of tee. I’m comfortable in my body, but I just prefer pants and underwear. – IG ---

Back in the days when I lived alone, as soon as I walked in the door I would strip down to my boxers. Probably about 30% of the time they came off too. Now that I have kids, that behavior would probably result in years of therapy for them. ---

It’s the SiL that I can’t seem to get to move out. At first I wore the shirt and shorts but figured it’s her problem if she doesn’t like to see my hairy chest and protruding gut. I’ve also given up more and more on the politeness for visiting guests. I figure its my house I’ll wear (or not wear) what I want. I’m looking forward to the day in 20 years or so when I can lose the boxers as well. ---

Rock on. Nudity was always my immediate reaction to having the roommate(s) out for the weekend. My only problem was getting cold, but I suppose that’s what warm snuggly blankets are for! ---

[/QUOTE] That’s what living in SoCal is for. 😉 Like others, first thing I do upon arriving home is to begin removing clothes. I usually jump in the shower within about 15 minutes of getting home so there is purpose to it, but then I really hate having to put anything back on after. ---

[/QUOTE] I was thinking the same thing as this too, not because I’m prudish, but because of an old boyfriend with questionable hygine habits. He liked to sit at the kitchen table in the nude, but after seeing skid marks not just in his underwear but on the bedsheets I told him to put some pants on. We didn’t last long. ---
