# Hooters 'n Kids

True story. When our sons were going through their preadolescent phase of finding everything to be suggestive or dirty, one of them suggested we go to Hooters for dinner. My wife instantly agreed. Horrified, both boys immediately begged to go somewhere else.

However, throughout the rest of their adolescence, my wife was perfectly willing to take them to Hooters so they could see tight shorts and t-shirts to their hearts’ content. In fact, when they got out of line, she _threatened_ to take them there.

My wife has always believed that the best defense is a good offense.
