Gosh, you know who’s conspicuously absent from this thread? The Bush apologists. Here Bush says, straight from his own war criminal mouth, that there was no al Qaeda presence in Iraq prior to our invasion, something many of us tried to say before the war (“look, seriously, SADDAM IS A FUCKING ASSHOLE DICTATOR BUT HE HATES AL QAEDA TOO AND WON’T LET THEM IN HIS COUNTRY!!”), and crickets chirp in the direction of the Bushbots.\* > [@elucidator](#): > > Sadly, no. I just want to see him and his ilk in prison, at best. At worst, that every scrap of information possible aside from the destroyed files and secrets-to-the-grave will be public record, so future historians will have access to it. Bush’s legacy is in the gutter already. I just don’t want to see any revisionist history take root. Bush is doing his best (to revise his dismal history), and I don’t want to see it fly. ---
