horizontal buttonhole?

Getting back to the OP, I find that the horizontal buttonhole at the bottom makes it less likely that I button my shirt incorrectly. I feel down the left side of my shirt until I come to the horizontal hole and then match up the bottom button.

Yes, I could look. But where’s the fun in that?

None of my favorite dress shirts (Charles Tyrwhitt) has the bottom buttonhole in a horizontal orientation. My two crappy dress shirts (Tommy Hilfiger) have the vertical bottom buttonholes.

My butthole is not a part of this conversation, thank you very much.

Yeah, I’d been reading it wrong for days and figured I really didn’t wanna know about it. But then I threw in the towel, because who could talk this long and much over a horizontal butthole?? Gah. And even now as I try to read the posts, I’m still reading butthole instead of buttonhole. Make. It. Stop.

ETA: tells you something about SD, in our defense
ETA2: I so want to post a thread with the properly-read title, but can’t think of a topic germane enough to let it get by. Maybe IMHO can accommodate a thought on it.
