# Horror movie featuring a haunted house in Japan?

The movie opens with a couple in bed hundreds of years ago, they are killed and somehow a tiny jade figure is to blame or important?

Then a modern family either moves into the house or buys something from the house and finds the jade figure?

What movie is this?

Assuming TriPolar’s not got it…the jade figure is a good point to start with, I guess, but still ‘a haunted house in Japan’ is not a very specific description, even with that. What else do you remember - for instance, is it Japanese, or simply set in Japan?
