You know what sucks? That most of us could eat those things as kids and run the fat/sugar off in the course of the afternoon. Now, eating them makes us feel guilty. I’m tired of feeling guilty when I eat the good stuff. Ivylad bought a chocolate cream pie from the store and I was quite offended when he offered me a piece. ---

So by extension, I guess you could kinda call chocolate a fruit product. Woo! Loophole in the food pyramid! Yes, I know, all the sugars and stuff added to it kind of rains on the parade, but let’s just have a moment to feel good about ourselves. ---

They are great (although I prefer French Apple Tastypies), but don’t look at the nutrition facts. They are LOADED with fat and calories :eek: ---

Actually, my weakness, which is only available in Texas, dammit… Whataburger DEEP FRIED apple pies… …you know, like the ones McDonald’s and Burger King and all other hamburger joints USED to sell? Yeah, Whataburger still makes those…2 for a buck…I used to buy 5 bucks worth and watch the cashier’s eyes get big. Then they would have to fry all 10 of those pies all by themselves in the fry vat…and I’d wait the 3 minutes…and then I’d take them home, only 3 blocks from the Whataburger…and we’d put 'em in bowls with vanilla ice cream… …oh, yeah…it was pure, artery-hardening heaven, it was… ---
