Well first of all there has been very high Hostility in the middle east towards Israel and the western civilization for long time and it was only really Egypt keeping an all out war.

This time hostility towards Israel and the western civilization is all time high . It was made clear by Iran that any attack would be ww3 .

Any fighting in Lebanon or even Gaza could trigger ww3 and with people in Egypt and government in Egypt threatening Israel :ocould get Egypt and may be other countries fighting with Israel and thus all out middle east war .

Before in past the US play the game allow Egypt to deal with it:o but if Egypt becomes like Iran look like may go that way the US will have no country in the middle east has friend.

Also remember the middle eat like China don’t look at wars like the western civilization do army to army and short wars.
What has US done wrong to allow this ? Was the US too soft in the middle east ?When Israel pulled out of Lebanon or even Gaza where was UN to sign peace deal so no WMD build up in Lebanon or even Gaza where there be fighting again? Why no UN inspectors to go in every year to make sure no WMD build up part of peace deal .

It seems the middle east wants a all out war dragging the western civilization with it has they keep fighting , support proxy wars , build up of WMD .

Also Keep in mind at one time the US was friend with Iran.

WW3 is pretty comfortably unlikely. China and Russia don’t have the stake in the matter they might once have. The escalatory pressure just doesn’t exist today that did in 1973.

Yes, the situation could be mismanaged and spiral up, involving Egypt or Iraq or Iran or even Pakistan. But that, too, is fairly unlikely. The world’s diplomatic network is strong enough to keep matters relatively well contained.

What I mean by ww3 is all out middle east war with Israel and western civilization .

Now China and Russia could not care less who is fighting or who is dying or if 30% world is fighting they are so in them self now.

Both Pakistan and Iran really hate Israel and western civilization and the build up of WMD and fighting proxy wars.

Too _soft?!_ What, conquests and torture and bombing and propping up dictators aren’t brutal enough for you? What; should we start importing Middle Easterners and eating them? Maybe _that’ll_ show them we are rough, tough Real Men.

No, we weren’t. We overthrew their democratically elected government so we could install a dictator as our puppet.

Why would Pakistan get involved in a middle east war against Israel? Unless, I do not know, Israel does something stupid and insane like attack Pakistan first? We have enough enemes without having to make a few new ones.

**checks join date**. Yup, November 2012.

1. What makes you think that?

2. Even if every 170 million Pakistanis did “hate Western Civilisation”, what makes you think we would go to war with Israel over that?

The government in Egypt is trying to play it tough that he is represents the people by not supporting the US thus threatening Israel . Much the same way would happen to Pakistan if he does not play hard.

In past things where different in Egypt .

That is not World War III - that is a regional conflict or if you like, simply war. There is no chance of a global engagement at all. Why would South America get involved? Or the myriad nations of Africa? There is nothing there for the Russians, the Stans, and China to risk their people for.

We’re talking about an hypothetical spiraling out of control. Why would Saudi Arabia get involved in a war against Israel? But they have in the past. Why would Iraq or Iran get involved? But they have.

Hell, why would Great Britain have gotten involved (1956?) But they did.

No, what they _really_ hate (and cause persistent harm to) is their own populations, which is why Israel and the west are so convenient - blaming _them_ distracts the Iranian and Pakistani people and keeps them from noticing that most of the miseries in their lives are in fact caused by their own governments.

You mean the Suez Crisis? That was about who was going to control the canal and the massive amounts of oil shipped through it. It’s almost _refreshing_ to have a middle-eastern conflict over such a clearly-defined economic prize.

That is **exactly** what Al-Qaeda wanted all along – the whole point of the 9/11 attacks was to provoke it. (Based on bin Laden’s published statements and speeches, etc.) Because they think such a war would force the Islamic nations to unite in a new Caliphate – which will not happen (how could Sunni and Shi’a Muslims agree on the same Caliph? like a Pope of all Catholics and Protestants?) – a Caliphate which, with God on its side, would win the war and emerge as the world’s new superpower – which will not happen. But, why should we even give them the war they want?

There’s one of the things the US did wrong. The basis of our “friendship” was that we overthrew an elected government and installed a brutal dictator, our “friend” the Shah. With friends like that, who needs enemies?

The problem is Hamas controls Gaza not the government and Hamas wants to fight. The government does not want to fight and does not want any more death.

Israel demands an end to rocket fire from Gaza and a halt to weapons smuggling into Gaza through tunnels under the border with Egypt..

It seems Egypt wants to allow weapons smuggling or the government cannot stop weapons smuggling.

> Hamas, an offshoot of the region-wide Muslim Brotherhood, is negotiating from a stronger position than four years ago, when Israel launched a three-week war on the militants in Gaza. In the city of Hebron, a 22-year-old man was killed by army fire and three other protesters were injured, doctors said. The army said soldiers opened fire after a masked man approached them and failed to stop.

This is where one can read and interpret Egypt and Tunisia, and Hamas among other will support Hamas and the middle eat hostility of Israel and the west will get much worse and more fighting and death.

But if these groups like Hamas and Hezbollah cared about their people they would not provoke Israel has they know Israel is going to go down on them hard.

I wonder in those countries like Egypt and Turkey so on the government allowing this or supporting this. It still crime.
