Joan from Mad Men. A ‘man’s woman’, essentially, which I cannot stand. She’s horrible to several of the female characters in MM, but is sugary sweet to most of the men in her life (she’s pretty normal with Roger in later series MM, to be fair). She resents Peggy using traditionally ‘masculine’ methods, preferring instead to resort to manipulation using her sex appeal. ---

I would say that all of them are a subset of ‘sex worker’ rather than a subset of ‘prostitute’. But we’re arguing semantics. Even if you say she’s a ‘prostitute’… _shrug_ So what? She’s still not the kind of sex worker who has to lie to their clients or is unsatisfied with their career. Which was the point. Sure, her not being sexually monagamous could present a problem. But ‘dishonesty’ is not one the issues caused by her career. ---

Lily is manipulative, while Robin has commitment issues. Robin has been in three long term relationships, despite her issues. Lily continues to manipulate the people around her. ---

She’s clearly and obviously in love with Tim McGee, but incapable not merely of admitting that her love for him is a whole different animal than her love for Gibbs, Tony, Kate, & Ziva, but cannot even _discuss_ it with him.
