[/QUOTE] It’s true, top split buns do make for a very stable hot dog. They have a flat bottom, and you don’t have to worry about propping your side split hot dog against another dog or the lip of the plate, to prevent its slow lop slide, and its disintegration. They are perfect for picnics. ---

This would seem to imply that one needs to put down ones hotdog for some reason. But how often do you have to save a busload of orphans during a picnic or a ballgame? ---

Mustard, Onions, and Pickles. Ketchup is for children and fools. Although I have used salsa before. I think I remember seeing split top buns once (Western PA), but there are places where you can get uncut rolls and slice them however you like. ---

One can put a single ice cube in a glass of scotch to replace the splash of water that is needed to open the bouquet, but putting several ice cubes is tatamount to putting in a splash of Sprite. ---

But what about this Ketchup and bologna appetizer or cocktail snack? Baloney Parmigiana 1 pound of Mortadella cut in one inch cubes 1/2 cup flour Two egg wash with a dash of milk Italian Breadcrumbs with some real grated Parmesan in the mix Toothpicks 1 cup of a very good marinara Bread and deepfry the balogna cubes at 365F for 4 minutes, or until brown. Place a toothpick in each cube, serve with the marinara as a centerpiece dipping sauce. Or you could do the same recipe, but use hot dog bites or baloney cubes wrapped in bacon, instead. ---
