I first saw Jorma solo at The Bottom Line back in 1983. Incredible show, and he had his shirt off…I had no idea he had all those tattoos!
I’ve seen Hot Tuna a few times, the last time was at the Furthur Festival in '99. Jorma and Jack are outrageous. Besides Embryonic Journey and Water Song, I also love hearing I Know You Rider, Day To Day Out The Window Blues, and I See The Light.
For anyone who cares to see. This was my first camp out in Central Park. We got there about 4 am. The show went all day. Here’s one of the photo’s http://www.angelfire.com/ny/MEBLISS/jorma.html
L714, thanks for the “furpeaceranch” link. I’m gonna save up some bread and try to do that in 2002. It just sounds like a tremendous experience. All of the instructors sound awesome. Learning blues from Chris Smither has got to be a pinnacle in anyone’s life.
