What election could possibly have taken place _three_ years ago that makes the _two_ year barrier so important? Anyone? It’s just that there’s been a dramatic political realignment in the past decade or so. Russia now owns the “Party of Reagan”, who has done a full pivot from “tear down this wall” to “don’t poke the big scary bear.” ---
