Hmmmmm…lo let’s see now… Astral \*could \*still be the last Scum. But only if he has a hyper-inflated flair for the dramatic, such that he decided to bus \*\*Wolverine \*\*Yesterday solely to set up this final Day so that he and I could kill \*\*Chronos \*\*and he could end up as the ‘last man standing’. Or, \*\*Astral \*\*\*could \*be a 3rd Party of some sort, who has a one-time killing power, and who has been able to fly under the radar just so that he could reach this point, where he can get me to help him off **Chronos** , and then he can kill me Tonight and win…and the theory that this game is the same in setup as Harry Potter was wrong after all. And if either of those scenarios is true, I’ll be leading the standing ovation that **Astral** will clearly deserve. **vote Chronos** ---

Based on yesterday, can I truly vote anywhere else? **Vote Chronos.** Yes, scummy SP might have split the difference with Wolverine yesterday in the hopes that one of them makes it to today. But they could have won yesterday if they had both hopped on Chronos, and they know that. I’m the vote they needed, and I was more than willing to hop on a Chronos lynch. Scummy SP would have switched the second I voiced my doubts about Chronos, Wolverine could have followed, and I would have ended the game. The simplest explanation is that Chronos must die. P.S. Only 24 hours? That pretty much guarantees no discussion. I know I won’t have time to actually analyze the players, and Chronos won’t have time to mount any defense. ---

Well, there’s not really much to analyze, is there? If you’re Scum, then the game would have ended Yesterday. If I’m Scum, then I wouldn’t have suddenly switched from **Chronos** to \*\*Wolverine \*\*Yesterday, and then passed up the opportunity to switch back when you voiced suspicion of **Chronos**. If \*\*Chronos \*\*is Scum, everything that happened Yesterday makes perfect sense. I’d be happy to discuss it more, but I can’t imagine anything that could be said that would make me change my vote at this point. So \*\*Chronos \*\*has no choice but to vote for me. And that pretty much leaves it up to you. ---

Well, at least I know who the last Scum is, but that’s small consolation if I can’t get **Astral** to believe me. If **Astral** were the last Scum, then he could have switched to **Suburban** yesterDay for the win. Since he did not do so, I’m now 100% convinced that **Suburban** is the last Scum. **Vote Suburban Plankton** Now, as for my defense: I see three prongs to the case against me. First, we have that [Suburban was suspicious of me in the past](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showpost.php?p=13466807&postcount=1293). This isn’t actually a bad case. I mean if it _were_ a case, it would be a bad one, but it isn’t even a case at all. If he had been suspicious of me in the past, and if that were so significant, why didn’t he express any suspicion of me whatsoever on the previous Day? For that matter, looking back, it also doesn’t look like he had any suspicion of **Wolverine** before that, either: I think he figured that the most inconspicuous move he could make at that point was to express suspicion of two people, one Scum and one Town, and he figured that I was the most convenient Townie to suspect. The second prong, so far as I can tell, is that I voted early yesterDay, which was interpreted as a Scum trying to control the tiebreaker. Well, yes, of course a Scum would benefit from controlling the tiebreaker. But just as obviously, a Townie would benefit from controlling the tiebreaker, too. The real question isn’t why did I vote early; it’s why everyone else _didn’t_. And the third prong is that if **Suburban** were the last Scum, he could have switched to me for the win. Except, he couldn’t have. Even if he knew he could have swayed **Astral** ’s vote, we were in a five-person game yesterDay, not a three-person game. In that scenario, he would have _also_ needed to sway **Cookies** , and I can’t see any indication that she was willing to jump. In fact, the one person she expressed suspicion of, other than **Wolverine** , that day was… [**Suburban** himself.](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showpost.php?p=13466940&postcount=1296) So scummy **Suburban** did not, in fact, have the opportunity to steal the win yesterDay. ---
