Hotel rooms: why no ceiling fan?

TL;DR all the posts answer: Nobody cares enough to make it worth the trouble and expense of put ceiling fans in a hotel room.

…except the Homewood Suites in Dover, NJ.

Just thought of another reason not to have any type of fans. Fire hazard. A fan can cause a smoldering ember or small fire into a blaze pretty quickly.
