# Hotels in Midtown Atlanta?

I think I’m going to Atlanta in late January and I’d like to stay in the Midtown area if that is still nice. I haven’t been to Atlanta in at least ten years.

Any decent hotels in the area? Are any of the hotels close to the MARTA train system? I’ll have a car as I’m going to be traveling outside of Atlanta for a couple of days when I first get there and then come back to Atlanta for Friday and Saturday.

Free wireless internet is a must. Free parking would be nice.

It kind of depends on what part of mid-town. In the North Ave area near The Fox Theatre there is the [The Georgian Terrace](http://www.thegeorgianterrace.com/). On 14th St. there’s the [Four Seasons](http://www.fourseasons.com/atlanta/). In Atlantic Station there is [Twelve](http://www.twelvehotels.com/AtlanticStation/HotelHome.do). The first two are a short walk from a MARTA station. The last has a complimentary shuttle to a MARTA station.

Oh, and yes, the area is still nice. In fact, if you haven’t been in ten years, it’s much nicer than when you were last here. The last hotel I linked was the ruins of the Atlantic Steel facorty a decade ago. Also, I believe the Georgian Terrace has undergone a renovation since then.
