I think violinist/guitarist Lisa Germano deserves mention. I’m having a hard time finding good picture of her from when she was touring with John Mellencamp in the late 80s, but I think these pics get the point across. _Younger Days:_ [One](http://onlyangels.free.fr/treasures/lisa_smile.gif) [Two](http://www.javaholics.net/assets/images/_LisaGermano20002.jpg) [Three](http://www.lisagermano.com/assets/lisa_13.jpg) [Four](http://static.flickr.com/69/192187271_cae8e6d9df_o.jpg) _Recent (not bad at all for 50):_ [Five](http://www.lisagermano.com/assets/lisa_16.jpg) [Six](http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3143/2640910729_b33db81f40.jpg?v=0) ---

[QUOTE=Little Plastic Ninja] I have the biggest girl crush on [Anna Nalick](http://new.music.yahoo.com/videos/AnnaNalick/Breathe-(2-AM)--18656347). [/QUOTE] And because long reload times on my crappy connection prevented an edit… I’m also very pleased to see that people like Johnette, too. I got to see her live in concert a few years ago… well, at least, I was there, and I’m pretty sure that was her on stage. 😉 She did a duet with some guy whose name I forget – he opened for her, and while I found him rather forgettable, their duet of The Ship Song was breathtaking. I had never heard the song before that. And Nick Cave. Aiyai. It’s a good thing I find him attractive because it helps me understand why I had a crush on a guy who looks JUST LIKE HIM when I was eighteen. ---

[QUOTE=Mister Rik] I’m pretty sure that’s the first time I’ve heard that said about a Japanese person 😉 [/QUOTE] You won’t hear me saying it about many people, period. But Tommy really does look better with her hair coloured light. ---

[QUOTE=Little Plastic Ninja] And Nick Cave. Aiyai. It’s a good thing I find him attractive because it helps me understand why I had a crush on a guy who looks JUST LIKE HIM when I was eighteen. [/QUOTE] I was lucky like you to find a boy looking really like him at college. I managed to make acquaintance with him, and after a few conversations, he asked me if I knew Nick Cave.. “well, yes, of course, I really dig his music” (and why do you think I’m following you everywhere like that ? 😃 ) [Previous page](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/hottest-people-who-are-also-brilliant-musicians/459472.md?page=6)
