Yes, I again have the task of driving **Scotticher** around Texas. It’s quite a sacrifice, spending the entire day and much of the evening with the lovely Scotticher, but I will do it because, well, I’m just a nice guy. Jim ---

Yeah, except for my propensity for stopping at every little historical site in Texas, reading every plaque and viewing every exhibit. In depth. Poor Jim and the Bear Family…you should have seen me at the Alamo! But I have to say, everyone was only too gracious. No one ever had better hosts. So…See? It is TOO a sacrifice! 🙂 ---

Scotti, don’t forget lots of paper, chalk & hairspray (as a fixative for the chalk) or crayons to do rubbings of all the great plaques. Those would make great free momentos of your trip. ::runs away from JimB:: ---

Ok, speaking of _before I forget_, give me a little help with directions. More than likely, Scotti and I will be coming in from Galveston. It looks like I would take 610 west to the Astrodome, turn north on Kirby, follow it to University. Take a right over to Morningside, then left up to the pub. Does that sound about right or is there a better way to get there? Jim ---

If we’re both on the same page, **Jim** , take a _ **right** _ off of Kirby on to University (traffic light) and follow it until you get to Morningside (4-way Stop sign) where you’ll make a _ **left** _ and find a place to park before you get to the next stop sign (_hint_: there’s a free parking garage on your left).
