They seem to be approaching the question of how having House around is going to affect Cuddy’s adoption process. Letting a neurotic, recovering addict around your kid isn’t going to look good during a home visit. A predictable outcome would be Cuddy dumps House since she thinks he’ll hurt the adoption process. House goes even wacko-ier. Etc. I hope they avoid the predictable. ---

I was under the impression that the adoption usually only takes about a year to finalize in situations like that. ---
