Classic misdirection, which is, of course, what we expect from _House._ I always wonder just how accurate the media’s depiction of visual hallucinations is. I know that they vary from person to person but how realistic can the be, really? Besides, aren’t auditory hallucinations more common? Anyway, they didn’t really do much with her real illness, probably to avoid ruining the surprise, but I think it was worth more than a few music video visuals and one surreal gag. ---

Did anyone else recognize the male prostitute as the guy from the State Farm commercials? ---

I’m impressed (and perhaps a tad disappointed) at how hard House is working at making the relationship work. Giving up his favorite hooker massage therapist! That’s above and beyond, man. At least he kept his grimace at having to deal with the slobbering, cane-munching rug rat. ---

I’m still wondering if his final comment–“Aren’t you adorable”–was really sarcastic or if he truly dislikes this kid. He appears to be babysitting in the next ep or so. We’ll find out. ---

We’ll find out. I was just coming back to ask that very question. Just by reading the synopsis it was hard to tell, but I guess it was just as hard to determine by watching. ---

So, is Chase really stupid enough to think that he can lie to the new blonde and try to have a relationship with her and House won’t sabotage that with extreme prejudice? ---

Remember, House said he could keep her and sleep with her, but she was quitting and said she didn’t date coworkers so he let her go without telling her she could stay on if she wanted.
