She screwed up his leg (at least he thinks so). How can you live with someone after that? ---

That was the reason for the original breakup, but after that she got married and she cheated on her husband with him. Ultimately and true to his perverse nature, House was the one that refused to take her back when she opened up to the possibility of it after months of his hamfisted wooing. ---

Don’t Cuddy and House have a mother/son relationship? She puts up with him, makes excuses for him, and tells him when he has gone too far. He acts like a spoiled rotten brat around her. Furthermore, those Boss/Employee things don’t work out, particularly with a female Boss and a male Employee. ---

He gave her medical power of attorney on his behalf, then was placed in a medically induced coma for his procedure. She went against his wishes once he was under and authorized a different procedure on House’s leg than what he had expressly given consent to. House had wanted a blood vessel bypass around the injured muscle in his leg, which carried a risk to his life, but might have let him walk normally. Stacy had wanted him to have his leg amputated, but gave consent to having his dead muscle removed, which carried less risk to his life. Stacy’s decision opened up all kinds of trust issues between them. ---

This is part of my take on House’s behavior in this episode. He’s the 4 year old who is unhappy that a new baby is coming and take away the attention mommy’s been giving him. He even threw a tantrum and broke a lamp. The ducklings are going to have to be very worried about a House-Cuddy relationship. It will end badly of course. If House is fired/quits, they’re out of a job. If she quits, the replacement will fire House and they’re out of a job. A lose-lose situation. ---

Now, see, I was thinking that in part he didn’t want Cuddy to have that kid because he likes her. If there were to be a relationship between them, he wouldn’t want a kid involved. I can’t see him chasing rug rats either way (his or someone else’s or healthy or sick) so if he has any interest in her at all, he’d not want the kid too. ---

I have a feeling that if they get together, House is accidentally impregnate her and we’re going to have an abortion episode. House of course being pro abortion while Cuddy will want to keep the baby. ---

He was “pro-abortion” when the child in question was conceived via rape and he thought the mom was parroting “abortion is murder” without really considering it. Who knows how he would feel if the child was wanted. ---

PotW was Anne Ramsay from “Mad About You.” House wanted to terminate due to mirror syndrome (?) over the mother’s strong objections but Cuddy took over and eventually saved the day.
