They wouldn’t vote for Jeffries, but if you get enough of them, they’d just have to “forget” to turn up for a vote and suddenly 212 votes becomes the majority. Yeah, but it doesn’t always work out. This last midterm, virtually every Repub candidate that tRump backed to primary an incumbent who dared to displease him lost the general. The constituents might remember that, too. ---
