When we remodeled our kitchen, I ran circuit one on two walls, and circuit two on the other two walls. The countertops are on opposite walls, so the toaster oven lives on one countertop, and the coffee maker lives on the other countertop. I used 12 gauge wire and put in 20 amp circuit breakers. I don’t believe we’ve ever tripped a breaker.
