Ack I’m gonna have to withdraw. Can’t go tomorrow (Saturday) cause I am playing a wedding. Can’t go on April 14th cause it is Passover and I don’t want to go be tempted by beer on Passover (and I don’t drink wine). Verboten and all. Anyway, maybe next time. I will be playing at Cafe Brazil irregularly and I’ll try to post updates here. Shameless self-promotion and all. Speaking of which, I’m playing there tonight (sucky piano jazz this time, in preparation for tomorrow’s wedding) at like 11 PM or so. Sorry folks. ---

Ultimately we’re going to have to hook up with you **edwino**. For now we’ll move ahead with current plans ( **April 14th** for the MAIN HouDope gig and tomorrow night **March 24th** for the strays). ---

☹ I deeply regret to inform you all that I can’t make it tonight, and neither can **maidenunicorn** , as she’s here with us. As for the 14th of April, it’s a definite maybe, because of Easter. It would mean not drinking alcohol and driving back to SA afterwards, it’s been years since I’ve missed the Sunrise Service. Are you _sure_ you won’t consider moving the date back a week, which would be the 21st? I can for sure make it then, and most likely so will maidenunicorn. **Mr** Bear is doubtful for some time, as he’s now working almost every weekend. I will have to work out transportation too, as we’re currently down to one vehicle. Thanks, **Irishman**! That’s too bad about the 14th too. I like seeing you as well as the other Houstonites. ---

I can now proudly report that I’ve attended a DopeFest where _I picked up the entire tab for everyone who was there!!!_ $9.50 for two ESBs, I tipped her $1.50 (yawn). See y’all on the 14th. ---

Sadly, it slipped mine as well. **Purplebear, et al** : MsRobyn will be in Houston April 14th… but, she is moving here so perhaps we can move it a week back (on the 21st). If so, I will have the mods close this thread and open a new one for that since it is so late in the game. ---

I am fairly flexible on dates, as far as it goes. I don’t know specifically when I’m moving to Houston, as I need to find a place to live, a job and a map. (The place to live and job will take a little time. The map is available anywhere. :D) With any luck, it’ll be sooner rather than later. Robin ---

Just wanted to let you know that I made it to San Antonio this afternoon, safely and none the worse for wear. (Wish I could say the same about my car, however.)
