I am a major lurker. Occassionally I contribute a post. I live nowhere near Texas; **but** , I would appreciate it if someone attending Airman Doors send-off would relay the following message: ā€œI have read many of your posts, and I know how much your new career in the Air Force means to you. I recall posts in which you expressed how frustrated you have been with delays in finally getting to basic training. I just talked to **Airman** and heā€™s about an hour or so from Tennessee. Heā€™s making excellent time, so I expect him either VERY late Thursday or VERY early Friday. Not that I mind, of course. šŸ˜‰ Robin ---

It is with deep regret I must inform yā€™all that **Mr Bear** and I will be unable to make this shindig. Even though we will be in Katy tomorrow, till about 2p. \ Since we live in San Antonio, less than 10 minutes from Lackland AFB, we can get together with him here however. No, she didnā€™t. I just got it! Unfortunately, although the official moving of HUGE f\*\*\*ing heavy things is complete (can anyone say 10,000 pounds?), weā€™re still up to our necks in boxes. Plus, this will be the first complete weekend with the family in town. Sooo, I donā€™t _expect_ Iā€™ll be able to make it. You never know, I may decide to break away.
