# Houston, Texas Dopers Recongregate!

I tossed it out a few days ago, and **Sealemon** responded affirmitavely. Seale, Ayesha and T. LION have been the core and Irishman has shown a couple of times, Cess is also a true-stander. The Nerd has appeared as well. Little Nemo, a great addition to the crowd, can probably not be expected to be seen around these parts until Christmas season rolls around again.
Can we muster again and perhaps draw out a few more Houstonians (johnnyharvard, starfish, nasargent and cooldude known to be amongst’em) or once again draw Dallasite zyada and whomever she might influence?
I’m just tossing this out now. My schedule gets a lot better after April 15th, and I’ll probably propose something firm if a bit of positive feedback appears.

Yes, it’s real unlikely I’ll be there, but if I’m in the neighborhood I’ll stop by.
In the “How many Americans here?” _three bunny mama_ says she lives “south of Houston.” Unless she’s Jamaican I have to figure she’s local. There were also a couple of other newer posters with Texas residences you might check into.
If I find you new meeting goers, is there a bounty or anything? Green stamps maybe?

After a recent _incident_ Carl promised to come pick me up every weekend until the end of school. I’m probably not going to hold him to that, but maybe I can use it to get to a SD meeting. 🙂

OK, just jammin’ here folks, to see what might gel.
That weekend works fine for me. We’re dealing, as we have before, with some valued potential attendees having weekend schedule conflicts.
What I might suggest:
Perhaps if we may garner one or two Dallas visitors and Cess is really a weekender from college, we might think of having a twofer with Saturday eve being a gathering in a quiet (until we get) there bar or restaurant and follow up with a Sunday patio place brunch? If we fix on some good locations for that I could do both even if everybody else cannot.
Phouka, please consider your presence welcome and desired!
And Zy! We want to see you again!

Hello, guys! I actually live in San Antonio, but I’d love to come meet you, and Houston is a 3.5 hour drive from here(I have family in Katy, and a friend in Baytown). Problem is no can do the 22-23 weekend. _sigh_.

We’d love to get to know you, too.
I think I’ll just let the gang work on this for a few days.
The parameters I’m working with:
- Sealemon’s work schedule often eats up part of weekends
- Phouka has one free weekend in April, and it ain’t a great one for Zyada
- TheNerd (that’s hard to type that w/o putting in a space) can not predict, but will if he can
- Irish, T. LION, Ayesha and I are on (I _think_) reasonably predictable schedules at that point
- Cess can predict weekend schedules while school is still in session
So, how about early May (my birthday’s the 7th - a Sunday)?
