Wow. I always knew this was a special group of nuts, er, I mean people. Mr Bear just told me he is surprised and pleased that people who don’t even know him are willing to change their plans so he can come too, and meet y’all. I told him that I’m not surprised at all, given who y’all are. But I am very pleased. 🙂 Sat. the 27th sounds great to us. We’ll be there. No promises on our condition though. :eek: 😛 ---

Sunday 21 or Saturday 27 would work for me. About Woodrow’s, they have food (Floyd’s, as Beatle said, actually not bad), and they have ice-house type garage doors that they lower when it’s cold. Everybody happy? ---

Whooee!! We’re in cheap-and-easy post territory. To recap the arrangements so far: No. 1: **Sunday** , **January 21st, 2001** , **2:00 PM** at **Floyd’s Cajun Kitchen 3111 Chimney Rock (713) 972-1966** and we can monitor the weather as the date approaches. No. 2 has walls: **Saturday** , **January 27th, 2001** , **6:00 PM** at **The Mucky Duck 2425 Norfolk (713) 528-5999** Will that work for everybody? An [Austin DopeFest](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=53363) is currently being organized by **TheNerd** (hmmm,…gotta go bump his thread, too) on possibly a weekend just before or after Houston’s twofer.
