You’ve obviously never driven in Jersey. Bumper to bumper at 70 mph!

I of course like this idea as I ride a motorcycle year round. I’d love to have a MC only lane on all highways! and in a few weeks I will most likely be taking I-270 in MD to the DC area and love the idea of the HOV lanes in part because it is much safer than the other lanes. what I don’t like about the HOV lanes are the people who take their kids in the car to get the privlage of using the HOV. it does help in the DC area at least some as I’ve been up and down 270 numerous times during rush hour and the HOV is usually running 10-20 mph faster. the only time it slows down is near the end going north when people think it’s ok to jump into the HOV for the last 1/2 mile with out signaling. The only place on the road on a bike that <b>really</b> scares me is where the HOV lane and the right lane ends on I-270 N bound.
