No, and not everyone will use the pool either. But the pool is meant for everyone’s use. Programs meant for only certain groups that the majority would never qualify for make no sense. It’s just spending other people’s money. Social Security is for all. Even welfare is for all(if they get into trouble). Corporate subsidies, not so much. Davis-Bacon, not at all. There is nothing in Davis-Bacon for the taxpayers, it’s all for organized labor.
Condo associations benefit the people who live there??:dubious: It is to laugh.
Well, obviously some people feel that way, or condos simply wouldn’t exist.
Like any democracy, if the people are apathetic enough, then the elected organization will work to pursue its own interests rather than the interests of those they actually work for. That’s our government in a nutshell.
Most people dont research the associations before buying, sadly.
Pools are only for people who like to swim.
Corporate subsidies - yeah, about the same as Davis-Bacon. If you want to get rid of them too, then we can talk.
I definitely do. Direct spending anyway. Tax breaks, depends on the tax breaks, but I’d be in favor of getting rid of ALL business tax breaks in exchange for a low corporate tax rate more like what Europe has.
