I’m currently on holiday in the Greek islands. We passed a station yesterday advertising € 2.40 per liter. That’s a bit over $9 per gallon. ---

Just dropped to $3.599 in my area. I drove about 100 miles north yesterday, still in Maryland, and saw one place at $3.759, but most were under $3.70 ---

Current average for Honolulu is $5.204, but yesterday for the first time in ages I saw a station selling it below $5. It was $4.999. Tellingly, it was in Kalihi, which is the poorest, lowest-class part of Honolulu. ---

The low-price station a couple of miles away was $4.97(cash) this morning, but the Chevron on my corner is $6.13. ---

I was in eastern North Carolina today and paid $3.479/gallon with a credit card for 83 octane in a 3 station neighborhood with same prices. Had there been a BP station with my Visa card affinity program, I’d have saved 15 cents/gallon. ---

Paid $5.29 U.S. dollars per gallon today. This would translate into £1.30 / €1.44 euro / $2.14 Australian dollar per litter. I’ve seen some places charging over $6.00 USD per gallon. This was for regular gas in the Los Angeles area. ---
