It’s come down a little. $3.50 - West Central Ohio.

Huh, _really_? Even today 2 days later [Gasbuddy insists that the lowest Ohio prices](https://www.gasbuddy.com/gasprices/ohio) are in the high $3.70’s. Yesterday I topped off at a local Meijer’s for $3.86 1/2 for premium, once all my discounts (-$1.17 1/2) were taken into account. If you actually were able to find a station that cheap more power to ya–and yes the reports may have been the dire work of the stay-at-home reporters (who in the case of this particular station had the reported prices all over the map and not all that close to the actual ones).

A week later, $4.99 is what I’ve seen across the board in suburban Cook County the last few days. That means that the stations close to me came down a bit, but overall, it’s still stupidly high.

Hate to tell you this, but you’re fortunate. Between Sacramento and Fremont, CA, today, sightings of prices for gasoline below $6/gallon were rather rare, and I saw at least one crowding $7/gallon. Diesel is headed toward $9/gallon.

So have ours in Dallas - they’re sitting around $3.85-ish now, down from around $3.99 a week or two ago. Diesel is the same- around 5.85 down from 5.99.
