# How are the conservatives/GOP getting away with all this?

Oh, I was actually referring to **Shodan** ’s rather revolting attempts to draw attention away from the real issue, as if misrepresenting positions, speeches, and old intelligence (not to mention genuine opinions resulting from Bushite misinformation campaigns) could prove anything germane to the discussion. Taking a look at the details involved is not a distraction, it’s required for the mop-up of faulty arguments. And I am very glad that **Hentor** and **Svin** did the hard work while I was shamelessly enjoying my week-end.

Oh, I do want to mention the wonderful post written by **Sandy Price**. **Sandy** , based on what I read in your post, I find you to be thoughtful, intellectual, experienced, and extremely well-spoken. It doesn’t matter what party affiliation you are, or whether or not we agree…you should post more!
