Flynn was a no good liar. He lied about his connections with Russia which none of us knew anything about, so that’s why we took the courageous act of firing him. Now he’s selfishly lying to telling FBI the deep state conspiracy against me what they want to hear in order to save his own skin. FAKE NEWS!
He’s a confessed liar! Therefore, any incriminating testimony he gives is a lie. Including that he interacted with the Russians, which makes him a double liar. He was lying when he confessed to lying because it never happened. Can’t trust him!
I don’t know exactly by which mechanisms it will happen, but I am confident that Trump and his administration will weasel their way out of any real consequences, and any revelations related to Flynn will not be the big bombshell that everyone has been hoping will sink Trump. I’m confident of this because Trump is such an expert at evading consequences. I hope I’m wrong, but I don’t think I am. From the very beginning of Trump’s campaign I predicted that he would win and that everything thrown at him would bounce off, because he bulldozes through life without giving a fuck about consequences and it works. For the past year, there’s been a constant series of “this is finally the thing that’s going to bring him down” and he’s weathered them all. And I think he’ll be re-elected in 2020, by the way.
As to how they’ll specifically “spin” Flynn, “they” meaning the administration and their spokespeople, don’t really need to spin it at all. They just need to evade any questions about him with vague gibberish, like they do with everything else.

I like the third because the people who promote it have no idea the reason Flynn got such a great deal from Mueller is for handing kushner, Trump, trumps family, pence, sessions etc over to Mueller and giving Mueller everything on them.
Hannity has been laying the groundwork for months that Meuller is an agent of the deep state, out to get Trump, and anything he uncovers isn’t to be believed. I imagine Hannity will attempt to pass this off as a nothingburger of deep state agents with a blank check written directly from tax-payers bank accounts. SHUT DOWN THE INVESTIGATION! WASTE OF TAXPAYERS HARD-EARNED MONEY!

Has ANY sitting president ever bad mouthed and trashed a previous administration the way that the current president has done? That’s a serious question because I can’t recall this ever being the case.

When the news first broke, the Fox News headline was “Mueller Gets His Man”.
Not even close.
In all honesty, I would expect Flynn’s credibility to be an issue going forward. Of course this isn’t Mueller’s first rodeo, and he’ll definitely seek corroboration where possible, but I’d worry about any aspect of any case against anybody in this administration which rests on the word of Michael Flynn.
